Yeah, already wondered if the Long Beach track could be created the same way. But I don't know the process of converting/building this track - it was sureley hard work.

WOW! Great track! 10/10!

(just the cc-line could do some tweaking)

Thank you once again!

I haven't posted for a long time but this has to be congratulated. Best piece of work this year. If something tops this I'd like to see it.
Jackie.

I would be happy about a race setup too!

There is another bug, similar to Autodromo de Uqbar version 1 (solved in version 2!)
The fast left, right, left, right at almost the end of the track - the curbs are so high for me, no matter what setup i choose, but the cc drives there, as if there would be no curb. As i said, i believe its a track bug, cause other curb are really smooth

But the track overall is fantastic!
Thanks for it!

As well as that, if you're too close to the wall at the s/f line you end up in little tiny pieces scattered across the track ;)

Hi Tony,
There's lots of old timers like me still around. Says a lot about he game that we can't find anything after so many years that's as good. I wonder if I should start a thread on how long we've been around?
Might be a laugh.

Very glad to see surfers paradise has been performing well for so many people..all the small glitches/bugs mentioned are all known & are being worked out....the descision was taken to release the track in early beta form to let others enjoy it now rather than many months down the line.....there were troubles during the build with the dat file that showed up new errors that hadn't occured with previous 3d editor versions, but thanks to btone & myself, we made as complete/stable a dat file as possible, as btone already said there will be changes to the track in it's final release...there is ongoing work with the next two tracks so probadly these will be released first then the updated sp version then......

yyeahh!
Great to hear it!
BTW - do you guys have a good setup for this track? Cause in some reason, i cant get a good working one. Not that im too slow, but the surface seems to be extremly slippery

Start with the wings at 20/20 then bring em back til you have a good speed down the straight and a decent amount of grip, then sort out the ride height and packers, then do the springs and the rest of the suspension. Leave the gearing til last

Yeah is there any progress with this track? I finally tried it the other night, and I'm in love, but those invisble wall problems are really a pisser.

I have not edited tracks myself, but decided to read up on it last night/today and try to see if I can fix the wall problems myself, but am not sure where to begin.

If anyone is willing to help me with that, that'd be great. Or if GP4TMG has all ready fixed the problem that's even better lol

Thanks
