****what kind of qualify system do you use??****

Hi to all of you!!

I'm spending a lot of time thinking about a qualify system that recreates (in a similar way) the new system.

I think that there are several possibilities but, what system do you use??

I configure the time at 45 minutes and every driver could try 12 laps, like the old system.
I was thinking in an improved way but I don't know...

So I think this is a good post where we can comment our qualify systems and together, we could reach the better system acording to gp4 tools limitations.

always start at the back of the pack so no qualifying for me

I'm still using the 2004 system. If use the 12 lap one chances are that'll end up getting a very good time or even the pole all the time and that doesn't make for some real fun in the start of the race. Making one lap only gives room for error

Me too, there aren't any real options that reflect the 2006 system, and i like the default better anyway, i also used it when the one lap system excisted, because that's boring and i am very bad at one lap :P (i always play with DC :P)

12 Laps; I do by 3 3 or 4 laps depending if I am fast in the fourth one or not.

if i'm doing a season, i use the default system, but when i just do race, i load my setup and start from the back and then fight through the field in a 25% race. a bit like Kimi.

but a couple of years ago, i did have it configured to use 2003 rules, but since i reinstalled, i have left it as default.

In my latest championships I used the qualfy in one lap cos this is very exciting. But in most races I was in the pole. With the qualify in 12 laps I will be in the pole everytime. But no problem.

I only want to recreate the current season the best way we could.

For now I use the 12 laps qualify but I'm thinking about a new way of qualify.

basically i changed the default one to a single lap qualifying but i forgot th order of the default one. can some one tell me what's the order for the default one e.g amount of fuel, amount of laps and amount of cars on track, thanks and happy racing from the UK!

I use the old system, but I use 20 minutes limit and a charge of fuel of 4 (for all divers). With this setting, all drivers go out of the pits 3 times, and in total have 3 fast laps.

dont qualify at all! start from the back of the row always!

nah i play at ace level and i have changed their ability to a high standard so if i stand any chance against them i need to qualify

nah are you kidding qualifying is fun starting from the back is too easy

thats true cus you can jump up to P5 or even higher by just stayin on the inside and braking late!

I give all the cars about 25laps of fuel, and allow them to do upto 50 laps. All 22 cars on track at once, and they all go hell for leather!!! WOOOOOOOOOO!

lol. is there a way to make computer cars hard to ovetake cus they pretty easy!

You can use a Tweaker settings for that that increases slitpstreaming...

Same as Shiva, 20 minutes and 22 cars on track, interesting, there is always someone to overtake to make a good lap.
