hey guys, good work with the mclaren. i have downloaded it and tried it out.

as the JW logo is the wrong font, i tried copying and pasting from Teraur's mp4/21, and it sort of works. after some flipping and resizing, it looks like it might turn out well.

it's not perfect yet, i only wanted to see if it was possible this way, copying it from one tex file to another.

i still need to blend the black around the text so it looks "as one" and not like i've cut it from one thing and put it in another.


(obviously for personal use)

i've blended the black bits in now, i thinks it looks ok, obviously not as good as when a proper painter does it, but it'll do.

I wish I knew how to do that.

it was really quite simple, i just found the correct font in Teraur's tex files, then selected the writing, copied it, pasted it into the Uskoff tex file no.4, then flipped/rotated it so it was the correct orientation, then resized it so it would cover the original writing (i found 122% to be about right), then blended it in, going round the letters with black. then saved the tex file no.4 and put it in-game. easy.

i didn't mess with the alpha layer though, but it doesn't seem to have a bad effect on the texture, so it's ok.

I have updated Uskoff MP4-21 shape a little , cockpit area is now rounder and looks more realistic in t-cam view :
