mod 79

Any news about mod 79?

nothing substantial.
i'll start work on it again real soon, and have some good ideas for improvements.
i have started 70's versions of hockenheim and silverstone though, so there is some positive news

Keep doing what you are doing atm and then get back to the '79 mod.

Its a cool mod already, even in its beta stages!!

The 79 MOD is THE best MOD out there.

i absolutely agree with Big Al, it's the best mod of all f1 games even if i like very much mod 75 for f1 challenge. Unfortunately there is only few tracks of the seventies, and the sounds could be better ( i use kpiotrow' sounds)
il anyone could post a little tutorial for Sample Editor may be i tried to improve sounds with real cosworth (DFV) sounds.

sounds is one area to be worked on. and tracks too - silverstone, hockenheim are in progress, and brands hatch for the race of champions

i always forget it's a beta version of the mod cause its better than many other mods at final level
Take your time b-tone, we're confident in your work
(i bought GP4 last year only because i discovered beta mod 79 was out)

i'm haven't been too worried about finishing at the beta is out at least. but the final version will have lots of improvements.
if you find any bugs, or have suggestons get in touch
also keep me informed if your sound experiments work
