I LOVE THIS TRACK! Great job guys. I have been eagrly awaiting this. So glad I can get into some sand racing as the big boys put their times in. Thanks for the early beta release. Sure there are problems, but we have something to play with. I appreciate that. Keep up the great work. This will undoubtedly be a masterpiece. It allready is.

I won't redistribute it. At first I will ask them if they want the objects (I have them as a .gp4). Besides I have almost finished a new and more realistic cc-line and added some JipMappings.

Maybe Dave and his partners can use it and upload a fixed beta.

Hi

I have replaced the a1ring2001.wad and the S1CT06.Dat file. I have set the 3rd track to be S1CT06 (as this currently has the original a1ring track and the loading screens of bahrain using Tony's 2005 mod) but when the game is loaded the cars seem lower thand the track! I think the problem is to do with matching the dat file to the track.

any ideas?

If you are using Tony's 2005 mod you probably have to rename the s1ct06.dat to sakhir-2005.dat or something like this. This will work.

Ok, here's a new and realistic cc-line made completely from scratch and also favourable for keyboraders: [sr3.mytempdir.com]

Use 3DEditor open the .dat file and to import the new cc-line.

Here's my best lap time with the 2004 Mod I did so far till now using the new cc-line:


Please give me feedback. Which corners are good and which ones are still difficult? Don't forget to change the setup slightly as especially the double left hander (turn 8 or 9) is very tricky.

A great job done by all on this track..great to see such a track being made & from early stages being at such a level of quality as well...congratulations..

In compare to the previous ccline, there is no difficult corner anymore.

Now it seems that it is time to build the pitbox graphics.

am i the only one who has 'glass' for tarmac around the last corner?

also, can the trackmakers release a patch for the pit exit? The cars go up on their nose at the exit of the pits
