You guys know that he is busy with it (Tony also urgently needs it for his 2005 mod) so just let him do his work and be happy when it's out.

from what i heard and know, the current status is.... pre-release. that means its not released yet ;-)
like most things, it'll be here when its here, and like few things it'll be great when its here :)

dunno all, but theres lots of things that make my job easier, even if they're unoticeable to mod users.
the main thing is TSM which basically allows an infiniite amount of tracks to be installed with no fussy renaming etc. 19 races will be possible in the 2005 mod.
improved gui, improved otherthings, free chocolate, faster loading, that sort of thing. Zaz probably knows better, but it will be great :)

not so much as choosing which 17, but choosing which 1.
for me the gp4 menus aren't ver good, and i'd like to take as much as possible to the csm menu where we have more control, and versatility.
so in the 2005 mod for instance you can choose which track, driver, difficulty level, race type, and more.

Hum, a bit curious for me. If we select the track in CSM, then I have to exit GP4, select another track in CSM and reload the game if I want to drive on another one, haven't I? But better that way than beeing restricted to 17 tracks ;-).

yeah, thats basically it. but quitting and reloading is what you should do anyway, as if you choose Melbourne to start with then you'll get all the melbourne cars, liveries, drivers, etc. so then changing in game to Spa, you'll have pizzonia in the timings, but hiedfelds helmet.
so they way to do it is make all changes in CSM and then go drive :) maybe in the future you can skip all game menus, and go straight from CSM to cockpit!
but, you'll still have 17 tracks to change to in game, not 1.
the CSM trak menu actually has 34 options, so you can race at any other tracks you choose aswell :)
