is it possible to have the car without that huge damage model ?
if it is not difficult it would be a wise idea to have two models , one for powerfull pcs and one for less powerfull , lowering the tex is easy but lods are very hard to edit

Yeah that's a good idea, the ferrari is a huge increase for my PO. Teraur also managed to make his mclaren able to drive with on less fast computers.

Yes there are some things that need some attention, but in the amount of time it's still a good job.

At least say WHAT is wrong with the car, so improvements can be done. With this kind of commentary no one can't do anything.

Like it or no Mini is right this car needs a total rebuild to look like the 248F1

I have given constructive critism about this car already, and he basically told me I didnt know what I was talking about :S

Sorry but its always the same. I remember days where the Community want fast and accurate Shapes. Yeah would be really nice if its possible. Also these days nearly all modders said its better to made a Shape without fixing it 2,3 or 4 times after the release. So let us wait for the final to see how good it is. But now it looks like the Community (seems like that in this thread) want actual Cars in a short time finished and who cares about the failures cause the modder could fix the Shape 2,3 or 4 times.
I`m also noob in shaping but i think its better to wait a little bit and get a great Car later then otherwise. Also i think that e_shumi has great potential for making F1 cars but maybe to fast imho.

this is mine advise:
the cars has faults on the nose. it's incorrect. and it looks like the car is cropped. i mean with that: the car isn't long enough. (it could be the render.) but on the pic from mini the car looks more stretched..

There was a time when the modding efforts here were appreciated, and everyone tried to help each other get better at what they did. Pretty much anything that was put out here was a cause for celebrations...

Now the truth has become an excuse for habitual and ritual flamefests that covertly display who has the most status and/or skill... BAH!

Damn I am glad no one I worked with had this intolerable attitude, back when 50 of us pooled together hundreds and hundred of hours to test, describe, replicate, verify and collect all the bugs and glitches of the release version of GP4, so we could get it patched up.

Morbid, thing thins is, he was given constructive critism before, but he hasn't done anything to improve it he just told Chris that he didn't know what he was talking about, so there's only one thing left to do... and that's what we did .
