dude, no offence, but can you not wait for a couple more weeks until we see his real F1 helmet? of course someone will make it, we just have to be patient.

nothing annoys shapers/painters more than threads like this requesting something to be made.

how can i make a helmet tex files from bitmap downloaded please???

you can only change tex to tga and then save them as bmps - if thst what u need..

u need tex2tga program which is someone on this website.

this converts tex to tga files and then all u need to do is save the tga's to bmps and then u are done...

How do you convert bmp to tex?

i load the bmp into Photoshop CS and save it as 32bit TGA, then load it into GP4master, downsample and save as a TEX.

you're better of opening the tex in something like GP4Master, extracting the file to get a tga, then work on it as a tga in PSP or Photoshop, then all you have to do is use GP4Master again to convert it back to a tex (after downsampling like Madotter said).

you don't have to bother with bmp's then.

that's what i have done in the past when messing with tex files.
