Adapting visors to 2006 team order

Since cars for 2006 will be in a different slot from last year, I would like to adapt the ckpt view and particularly the visor to the new order.

Ex. : How can I change Ferrari (Shum visor) from slot 1 (in 2005) to slot 3 (in 2006)?

change the visor tex numbers, this should work

And where are the visor tex files exactly?

in the track wads, or you can download a 2005 visor set and change it then. And after this, export the visors to the track wads

yep you can do it manually by going into every track wad file, then changing the numbers on the visor tex files:

for example:

go into the folder Monaco2001 > Maps > Resources > Visor

then rename visorupper01.tex to 3 or 4 or whatever the order should be.

the default 2001 order is:

visorupper00.tex = Ferrari driver 1
visorupper01.tex = McLaren
visorupper02.tex = Williams
visorupper03.tex = Benetton
visorupper04.tex = BAR
visorupper05.tex = Jordan
visorupper06.tex = Arrows
visorupper07.tex = Sauber
visorupper08.tex = Jaguar
visorupper09.tex = Minardi
visorupper10.tex = Prost
visorupper11.tex = Ferrari driver 2

yes, but what you can do is change the numbers for 1 track, then copy & paste the files into the other track folders.

if you are using tobacco and non-tobacoo visors, then you can change 1 tobacco tracks visors, then paste them into all the other tobacco tracks folders.

then change the numbers in 1 of the non-tobacco tracks folder, and copy & paste them into the other non-tobacco tracks folders.

that should make it quicker than renaking all the files in every tracks folder.

don't forget to compile the wad with Easywad after renaming.
