btw - just checked the alpha layer and it was ok, so it's not my fault that those sauber textures are wrong in that pic

buzz hornet - tgas are better - they don't lose the quality.

The way to make .tex files not lose any quality is to simply rename the .tga file to .tex - however your file will be large still, as there is no compression. Try it and if you get a big po hit then you'll probly have to use the tex converter thing. I wish there was a lossless mode of compression - there is for other types of image files isn't there? :S

BTW, for the texture, you should use an unshaded bmw logo if you look at the photos :)

don't tell me you can't find any either, cos I did in about 2 mins ;)

All of my posts have been constructive comments. This car has alot of errors for such a simple car

i think that have 1 error, in rear wing, but this is because the c_24 template is in this form, only can paint the upper position.....

i think that the car is great...

that sauber stuff is from the alpha, so unless the alpha's been changed on or since that screenshot then it must be there still.

I wish there was a lossless mode of compression - there is for other types of image files isn't there? :S

there is for gp4, but has downsides, so its not really worth it.

I love it when people write this

Who was the first one to edit GP4 shapes? Me.
Who just released a full Porsche Carrera Cup GB carset for rFactor? Me
Whos work has proved good enough to work on a commercial product? Me

I can do better, and i do do better. You can see this when you BUY the products i am working on

I am giving constructive comments on where this livery needs improving. If you cant deal with that, dont read it.

The Alpha layers in the photos provided are wrong. If you have updated it, good, but they are wrong in the photos

Also looking at tha latest renders, both BMW logods are wrong in terms of colour, design and size. The intel logo is the wrong colour, the E with the circle is missing off the side, the michelin logo is missing off of the bottom of the sidepod. The logos on the front wing, and the bardge boards are the wrong colour. If you turn up the brightness and contrast on the BMW photos you see they are blue, not black

Mate, you're making to big deal out of it. It's wrong nitpicking this car about small livery errors when the whole car is made on Sauber 2005, wrong shape, shadings and everything else.
This was never suposed to be an exact copy of real thing. It's made on template, in few hours and it's only purpose is to fill our cars.wad until a proper car is out. It's better to have this than nothing.
I think it's good idea to make all 2006 cars in this way before we do proper cars.
