I cannot use brazil.. when I want to select a renderer for the production.. al found in the tab 'Common' in 3dsmax/render screen.. it says it workes... but when I click render, brazil console is showing up.. then get this error:



the white window is telling:

SplutterFish: Brazil r/s license error - Render Halted
Unable to acquire a WORKSTATION license

Seemes like I need a registration code... but all this is a trial.. which means I cannot use brazil.. basically..

But now I've seen Yulcsa made a render WITH brazil.. so I wanted to ask if it is possible for me too :(



Or is she using a full version... and not a trial or something???

Need some answers and advice.. so please.. tell me :(

first, close 3ds Max then start sfmgr.exe or something like that. you placed it in a folder when you installed Brazil. Then restart 3ds Max, should work now.

I would like to render some DTM cars of the upcoming DTM mod for GP4..

But first gotta have a car :( and don't know if it is permitted tho :(

looks a bit weird, because you can see through windscreenbanner :p. try to do that with an alpha map and put that in the opacity slot of the material.

You asked if someone wanted to render your DTM cars, and I don't know, but nobody has answered yet..

So if you need someone, I need some stuff to learn.. And I want to put some effort in those renders, so, please answer my question.. And I will be hearing from you :)

I really look forward to do some work that could help :(

the dtm cars aren't ready to be rendered yet (they were earlier, but aren't now :|) but i'll keep you in mind when something is ready :)

In material editor, make a brazil basic material and change the diffuse colour to the colour you want your ground to be, the go to maps > reflect and set a falloff fresnel map and leave it at 100% and you get the under car reflection and assign it to your CSG plane (select by material > material editor and then select the slot) :)

only a question: i any shapes....the car_interior canĀ“t put fallof and fresnel because not reflect....see white and black...you know why happends this????
