Grand Prix 4 Safety Car

Is it possible that someone could make a safety car using some software?I saw screenshots of Grand Prix 4 with alfa 147, so I think it is possible to make a car...

it's possible to make the car.. but to have an actual working safty car is impossible as far as i can remember

getting a safety car to work would involve reprogamming the game itself. altho it would be nice to see one in future F1 games

impossible to be made... (at least VERY hard). And I think it's not that important. I would like to see the online gaming improved before. It's the only thing missing in GP4.

well we know that the model itself can be made we just need the exe to be tweaked

but i want a mercedes one.

I'm sure you could download a merc somewhere but you would have to edit the paint job to make it look like a safety car, then place it in the team 11 slot

but trust me when i say it is NOT worth it

yes who will be avle to do a safety car coming in and out in GPA it will be fantastic!

i tried to make the 05 safty car for f1 2002 but the blueprints messed up in zmod evne tho they were the right sizes

I remember F1'99 for the PS1 had a safety car, and it's the only F1 game I've played that has a working safety car. Thought it was a nice touch, especially considering it's a Sony game.

I'm a total dick. How many people can say that?

The safety car feature worked quite well actually! Im sure it could have been easilly programmed into GP4, shame it wasnt. I actually remember winning a race in canada behind the safety car! Great feeling knowing no one could take you before the flag!

There's a safety car in F1 Career Challenge (aka. 99-02), that's pretty cool.

Imagine having a safety car in GP4, would it be possible to ram it off the track and continue racing :P (not seeking a real answer, just playing with ideas)
And how easy it would be to punt people off while following the safety car, you'd need to also program in New penalties.
