Minardi PS05 by Wai (painted by sniper)

This is a topic where Stijn shows his Minardi, not a topic to bitch about if he uses templates or not. What counts is the result, not what he uses to get it. And I like that Minardi, if it's painted on a template or not, I don't give a @#%$ about that. As long the end-product is nice.

Thanks guys, don't spoil this thread, discuss the car!

here is some progress. I've add a small body line on the nose and some shades on the bottom of the nose. The shades on the sidepod are done as well.

But now I have to stop because I have to get up early tomorrow to Berlin,

I have to say, none of this was run past me. i'm a little surprised that andy and enzo have done this as i gave the job to dahie, knowing this shape was never to be released for GP4 (search the forums, the reasons are there)

i'm disappointed that this was done behind my back. i'll let it happen, this once.

if i'm coming across as a hard ass then shoot me, i never intended it for GP4, but it's on the forums now so the job may as well be finished

For some general clarification (does this word exist?)

Wai modelled the car, I originally wanted to painted, but due my study I just don't have the time to do this, which was quite frustrating, as I love the car and I'd loved to do it. Ross also applied for the car, but quit before he started unfortunatly. As most our painters are incompacitated with RealLiveTM we want to give Sniper a chance and so far he has proved us right. The shots are very good.

If you need anything from Minardi contact me, I have most logos in HighRes from the former 2 Minardi PS04d

Andy just asked me yesterday that who can help him map the car , I was free that time so I mapped , the car was 95% mapped and for some left details , I left them for the painter.

the white bit on the nose cone doesn't follow the downward curve of the nose, it's actually a straight edge that runs along
