Wow the GP3 version looks really good. Thanks for the pics aswell. Is it possible to use the GP3 .dat as a base? im guessing no cos both run on different engines (i think)

hmm thats a definate no because 3deditor crashes when i try to open it.

Go and download the GP3 Track Editor and you can see the values for the track sectors, lengths and angles when you open up the GP3 Birmingham Superprix .dat file.

So you can copy that in the GP4 TE if it works in a similar way. Then we will need a bit of guesswork on the height gradients to make it more accurate than the GP3 version.

It is quite an unqiue track as it was the most fastest street track in the world at the time!

That's not the GP3 version I got! I don't know what mine was but there was nowhere near the amount of trackside objects and scenery as that! Maybe I got a beta...? Damn, wish GP3 still worked :(

I am uploading a rare onboard lap driven by Gary Evans at the first ever Birmingham Superprix (1986)

It got commentatory from himself along the lap as well. A little taster for you... ;-)

This will help you a lot especially the height graidents and the accuracy of the racing line and the commentatory as well. The sound might be out of sync so bear it with me!

Please do let me know if you need more information about a certain corner or whatever.

I have been to the track a few times myself a few years ago so I sort got a good idea of what it really looks like.
