Well the pit markings are now white, and there are no pitboxes on it, the exit is a lot smoother (just don't stray off the pitlane because you will fall from a small height) and hopefully, a pitverge will be up in the next couple of hours.

Then I'm going to have a crack at this red texture that sits down the pitlane alongside the pitboxes :)

I've just drove it and it was great. And of course I went off in Turn 8 ;)

Is anyone going to name that bad boy (turn 8). A turn like that needs a name.

Thanks for all the kind words folks.
Ok. the extreme clipping of the pitlane buildings was due to the Fence tex. I made it dtx1 no transparency and poof. The Pitlane buildings show perfectly again. YEAH!
I'm working on the crowd textures and other clipping issues now.
If/when Zeppelin forwards me the fix for the pitlane service problem, I'll wrap it up and upload it again real soon.

Thanks
Schaller

marianodc, look here:

The files you need to rename are listed in first step, you can follow the other ones to make the track "slot-independent" :)

The track is really great. But it needs to be solved the problem of the cars wich get stucked in boxes. And a better CC-line is needed

ok, as far as I'm concerned, there are only 3 problems left before this becomes V1.
they are.

1.Clipping of the fans in the stands.
2.Better cc line for keyboarders.
3.Pit stop error.

The rest is doone. the Pit lane buildings no longer clip. Zeppelin has a bead on the pit stop error. I wonder if we can get a volunteer to do a CC line. I have 2 CC lines, but I understand they are not the best for the keyboard users, so if someone can fire me a cc line, I would appreciate it and of course give you proper credit.
Not sure what to do about the fans in the stands clipping. I have tried seperating them a little from the objects they sit on and making sure they are not touching and they still clip lke mad or just dont show up at all.
All the stands have fans in them, but for the most part they dont show up. It miht have something to do with the textures in the stands that contain alphas and transparencies. but once I get that done and the pit fix from Zeppelin and a new cc line. 1.0 will be out.

Thanks
Schaller

Possibly the faces may need re-orienting, or maybe the normals are slightly messed, but only a bit of experimentation will fix things like that

@Schaller: If you want I can create a new cc-line. I already have created new ones for Hockenheim and Shanghai, so I have some experience about this.

Cheers

The track is great, I hope the bugs will be fixed soon. I found it wonderful to drive, but turn 8 is turn 8... and I got off track three laps in a row... in the fourth I hit the wall ;)... it's a real pity that track length differs so much from the real one :(
