One problem in gp4 multplayer :(

Hello everybody,

My problem is gp4 in LAN.
The season 2004 of my gp4 it functioned perfectly with all players in LAN.
I update season 2004 manually, without CSM MOD.


But now season 2005

I used the CSM MOD TONY.
Is one great MOD, easy to work,

but

I do not know if it is for cause of it, but I now do not obtain to play more than with 7 players, when I go to connect the 8 player,

Unable to conection on server

Anyone plz help-me with this BIG problem

I know that the problem is at LAN, but I asked if he tryed to run over INTERNET too! What is wrong?

No i don´t try work on the internet, because
LAN = 100mbps = LAG
My connection is 600Kbps = ???

The Microprise don´t make multplay good because the license of multiplayer is of the EA

I understand what you mean in that last post, but I don't know why you can't connect more than 8 players. Maybe try using the 2004 carset that worked to see if it still does. If it does then maybe you should make you own 2005 cars wad so you can play via LAN.

on school i pleyed gp4 online with 6 people on the school server it was fine under 100PO, i played to online together with Patrick Cloosterman ( the man with the cc line ) but that was with 2 people 1000PO or more !!

Did you tried the "hamachi"?

yeah ive tried, there you got around 700PO with 2

I´m having the same problem, in LAN, when I try to connect the 8th player, results the same message.

We use to play in IPX protocol, when we try in TCP/IP it works. Maybe there´s some limitation in IPX, but TCP/IP results some lags, IPX is smooth.

McLeo, which is the maximum of player´s that you achieve to play together?
