I've some pitstands with crew I'd like to share...

great work mr pibb! are these pit muppets inserted into the wad of each track or do they go into the cars.wad?

They go in the .gp4 of each track, and they currently sit nicely in my oval (release soon)

tom ,, if you wanted to put the muppets in excisting tracks...would you need to delete the old stands first & place the new muppets stand in the same scene....??

Put them in a new scene. I've tested this a lot, never had any problems at all.

Then, delete the old ones and you're done.

There's only one file to insert into your track.gp4, and all 22 stands come in at once in correct location, rotation, height etc.

I've made full instructions in jpg format too for anyone at all to understand.

GP4-ARGENTINA

A Karan19: They're placed into each track gp4 together with their tex files in the wad. Same tex files for all wads. NT are included as extras.

They're very easy to insert. One insertion and all 22 stands and all muppets are there, in the right place, rotation, height etc.

I have made easy instructions with diagrams in jpg format if you're interested.

@Willb: I guess the answer to your question is yes! The stands come from standard GP4 game, although I've modified them quite a bit to fit the muppets in. The textures themselves are a combination of standard GP4 and some I've made myself. The muppets originally came from Erwins X-Tracks project and can be used without permission providing credit is given to the X-Tracks project, and the pit crew textures are Hagi's and as Bigbrother posted above, Hagi has very kindly given his permission too!

Can I assume you only want the silverstone pitstand-gp4?

had a look at the muppet pit stands last night....brilliant job done by all here...good straight forward instuctions to install...can't imagine a track without them now.........brilliant.......

They're ready to go really, but I've not written to Erwin yet about putting them in his X-Tracks project because I'm a lazy ***** basically.

In the meantime, you can get them here: [s42.yousendit.com]. please note there are subfolders within the zip file.

OK, i am gonna get flamed for the question (i am new in editing GP4 you know )but how do I get my ".gp4" files? Where are they, what are they? The jpg instructions are very easy to use, but they don't tell what one needs to prepare in order to put those awesome pitstands on to the tracks. I need step by step instructions guys
