I think with TAMIAYA's blueprint , build such a car is not hard work
the same like my F1-2000

oh my god! but is it possible that a day you can say to someone: good work guy! ???
You have every time somethink to say: this is not good, it's not perfect.... Nothing is perfect in this world... including your fussy and higher character.

I agree with you, 32BOBO32. Enzojz, as much as I respect your work, I dont like your attitude towards the other builders and painters.

I didn't mean that's not good , but I just give some advise to make it looks better ingame , you can not see something in ZM . Remember , that's my advise with my modeling expirence.

Something can not be done if you mainly focus on gameplay , but I think this car is something like expirment , so don't care the polycount first , you must do anything in order to look it better ingame.

That's a princple that the modeler must insist through the modeling : gameplay or quality.

About the engine , I want to tell the texture painter , there's a site that you find lot's of Ferrari engine photos , including 049 , 050 , 047 ,etc...

I know you're trying to give me some advice, Enzo. But sometimes it seems you don't appreciate any other one's work... ;-)
Anyway, what do you think should I improve in the sidepod? Your previous post wasn't really clear... And what is the site you're talking about? I'm gonna do the textures too. and it could be very very helpful! :)

On the sidepod , I think there should be more squared meshes , not merged meshes , you know , it will mess up the reflection map.
the site , iI forget where it is , you can see the engine in my F2005 took the pcitures from it.

Mmm... I'll see how it looks in-game this way first, as that part is done that way because of bodylines... :)
And if you can find out what site was that, plase let me know! :)

another advise is that you can devide the faces of side of the nose into three or second suqared polys , it will look better.
You can download my F1-2000 to see what I did.

tbh, screw that, I think Diego knows what he's doing by now - it looks fantastic, technically all but perfect :)

now get some textures on it, slacker! ;)

Eheheheh! Thanks for the supprto Nick and Craig! :)
And thanks for the opinion anyway, Enzo! :)
But, back on topic. I've started mapping and texturing yesterday, but work is a bit slow as I'm very busy with uni in this week and I can work on the car just little time. Hope to show you something good soon! :)

no point in doing just one car(like the B196). You might as well make a full carset. ;)

Ok, it's time for some update! I've finished the main livery and its mapping. Still some damage model mapping and texturing and shadings to be done. Hope you'll enjoy it! :)
