lol they store the mesh that enables skid marks and rain effects and relfections etc. Problem is, there are a lot of reasons why they may not work from time to time, but I think myself and a few others (Lo2k is a genius :) ) have sorted most of them out

[www.gdecarli.it] = Trackmap
[home.online.no] Cars on it

Can't be done unless someone unlocks the 1450 sector limit

the 'real' spa was last used in 1978 and the new spa used in 1980 i think so it narrowly misses out on being part of the 1979 project.
1979-80 was actually the same as now but with no bustop and the start line after la source. ubt i dont think we can move the initial sector so doing that verion would require rebuilding the whole track. but the scenery would'nt need much work so maybe...

@Tom - i'll be in touch soon then and you can do some binning for me ;-)

i'm thinking that it would be possible, moving the first couple of sectors to their correct position, delete the ones between those and the starting point, and then just rebuild only the last part of the circuit, removing bus-stop, and making La Source again (if you are careful enough, you can copy the exact same data that corner has before deleting it ;))

of course pits would need rebuilding, but hey, if what i said actually works, you'd be saving a lot of time, if it doesn't, good luck with track elevations ;)

I'm against sigpics

Yes you could do that but, you'd have to go back a certain amount to line up the track to make it like the original, as well as deleting x-amount of sectors after the initial one, and then move it before you could do anything. Still, the 1450 sector limit remains which means that the cars just crash after about 100m

ahh, it does seem possible to move the initial sector. didnt know that :p
well in that case i might add 1979 montreal, and 1979/2005 gp2 spa :)

for the limit u could build a 1/3 scale track and 1/3 scale cars and 1/3 scale physics :p
