Heres my latest nowhere near half completed track.
Remember I'm releasing these in this state so you can try it now, and have a better finished product in the future. So feedback is crucuial!!
And theres not much support at this stage, so if you can't install new tracks you'd be best waiting for the final version :)

Brands Hatch GP Circuit 1999 v 0.1

What to test: Layout, elevations, fence positions, runoff areas, banking (theres very little actually but tell me where it should be)
What to ignore: scenery, cc-line, pitlane (cc's don't like it so not much chance for racing here, but i'll fix the pitlane asap - i get wierd bugs :\)

Get it on the soon to be updated grandprixX.com

If i look to dtm driver 2, the first corner seems to be too slow, the hair pin have a less percentage up of hill (the hill needs to be more a hill then a bump), the corner after that is in 2 (or 3?) and the one after 4 (or 3?, 5?) And at some stages the track needs to be wider.

But it looks great, nice track to drive!! but needs a little more speed...

If only i could become the survant off all...

the layout should be spot on as i've used a hi res satelite map.
i'm a bit suspicious of tracks from other games, as they're most likely not 100% (just like this one wont be :)), but i found this on the BTCC site about that bend:
... the cars brake from speeds in excess of 125MPH for Paddock Hill, on the crest of the hill...

i'll look at more videos, and compare with this track to see how the speeds should be.
i can add more speed through a better cc line, and magic data but that will come later.

if you mean the bump in the hill eading into the (druids) hairpin, then i agre - the bump is alittle too much.

soory, i don't understand??

where exaclty? i think its good now, as its taken straight from the hi res map.
it can be quite decieving without scenery though, so keep that in mind :)

thanks :)
does anyone have any idea what an F1 car would lap in?
btcc were doing about 1.33 last year, and i think my 2001 cars were doing 1.14 or so.

Well as a guide F3000 cars were lapping brands in 1991 in 1m 09s. So I would guess modern F1 car would lap in just over 1m. Maybe 1m 02s?

F3's in rFactor were lapping at 1.24's on the Brands Hatch available for rFactor, thats with human drivers tho, AI were going around 1.30 i think...

I have the BETA version of csm 55 but have no idea of how to install the track using it, I know Brands quite well and so would love to be able to help you get this track perfect. Could you explain to me how I can intall it?

it always crashes when i start to load it. No matter i turn debug mode on or off. I dont think its my fault, cause all the other tracks are runnuing (but none of of you e.g. helsinki etc :-(
what a pity... I love Brands Hatch

is it a duty to use csm in this case? cause i dont, maybe thats the fault

The game always crashes when I try to load your new tracks, Tony. I can't figure what's happening. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I tried using CSM Build 55 but the result was the same. I'd love to test it. I've driven this track in TOCA Race Driver and I think it is more interesting than Silverstone.

can you pm or send me the gpxpatch logs?
theres a post about tsm a while ago which might explain, so search for that.
i'm a bit unorganised now and testing the next csm, so almost everything is crashing for me too :p
but once i get a bit sorted out, i'll be able to help more
