Leeching means taking something and saying it's yours.

mdbsnake's car is his own, the textures are his own.

well logos are a different story.
Taking a logo from someone is not leeching, because that person doesn't
have copyright of the logo in the first place.
Each and every logo on the face of the planet, were designed by one person
in a room somewhere.

This vodafone logo was made by vodafone themself's, anyone who says
they made it, are the leechers.

so every single car with this logo, has been leeched from the
company [vodafone].

sorry, but mdbsnake can use those logos, because the logos belong to the
companys and no one else. [copyright law]
even if someone else [PAINTED] them, (not made), but painted them, he can still

leeching is now accepted in the mainstream in GP4....oh well even if its shoody work, as long as it look crudely like the truth when forced to squint with one eye and get absurdly drunk beforehand i guess its alright for some.

Flash does have a point there though. From a legal stand point he is absolutely right and theres nothing even Ross could do about it.

But on the other hand, the problem is an issue of a person's feelings. Putting things in black and white according to the legal system totally ignores the fact that a leecher basically disrespected someone's creation,albeit it was copied from a company's logo.

Obviously you are going to have ppl on both camps and I guess I fall into the latter. We cannot really go by a legal point of view here. I mean its a gaming online community. Why complicate things by bringing up legal loopholes to excuse your leeching when it can be as simple as spending a few moments on getting permission from the painter and keeping him happy and keeping this community going on a positive road into the future.
