hi. to replace shangai track in a1ring track:
rename the cfp, col, bin, gp4, hze, vcl, env files. (ex: indianapolis2001.gp4 to a1ring2001.gp4)
rename to the files indianapolis2001_pitlane.bin, indianapolis2001_pitverge.bin and indianapolis2001_track.bin to a1ring2001_pitverge.bin, a1ring2001_pitlane.bin and a1ring2001_track.bin.
rename the folder maps\indianapolis2001 to maps\a1ring2001.
rename the files in folders samples\reverbdata and samples\crowddata.
it´s not necessary rename the tex files.
start gp4 in debug mode.

could someone please email me it aswell to lordstripe@aol.com

it would be better if they put it on gp4italia or something :D

It doesnt work for me. I did a fresh install and changed all the non-tex files and maps that contains indianapolis like u said above. I've also changed the dat circuit file to S1CT06, but still when its loading the track it crashs back to the desktop.

could someone email me it as well please to iliveonthemoon@msn.com ?

I downloaded the Shanghai track that replaces the A1-Ring and it works but I have found that Indianapolis does not work when Shanghai has replaced the
A1-Ring.

Is there a way to fix this problem so that I can have both Shanghai and Indianapolis tracks in the game.

but it should work, i've tested both tracks and for me they works fine. Dunno what you've done, maybe you have still the Shanghai s1ct16 dat in your GPxTrack loaded, replace this dat with the original one and it should works again.

I have Indianapolis working again, but the Shanghai track does not seem to work with GPxPatch. Is there a way to get the Shanghai track to work with GPxPatch when it replaces the A1-Ring.

which trackorder do you have? and another question, are you german? oh and i've added you in msn, if your emailadress is correct, so it is much easier to solve your problem

I am using the 2004 mod and the shanghai track does not seem to work with the 2004 mod.

it should, it's related in which position your a1ring for the 2004 mod is, e.g. if the a1ring is in slot 8 in 2004, you have to change the new s1ct06 dat to s1ct08 and overwrite the dat in your circuits folder. Then load the new s1ct08 from the circuits folder in slot 8 at gpxtack and start gpxpatch.

BTW , which mod 2004 do you use?
