got the 2005 mod working on my dads but has soon as i get half way round the lap my computer restarts itself it might not having anything to do with the mod but im not sure coz all my other games work fine.

i've been pretty busy so havent had much of a go at it yet. hopefully bigbro is compiling a list of whats needed so that should speed things up a bit.

but to be honest you might have to wait till after spa. i doubt i'll get anything done this weekend, and then theres 2 races in a row.

Well the list is almost finished. I have read all posts of this thread and put all idea's and things on the list so don't worry!

The rims from enzo will be in the mod i just got premission from enzo so we can add them, tyvm for that enzo

Also update for Friesacher helmet made by iceman-kimi can be add premission is given

Also the fix,3Dtreads with 2D made by Floris_Koop_GP4Freak can be added premission is given

Question: has someone made a helmet from Montoya hungary version ????

- 8 new bin files to fix the fuel problem (gp4tweaker consumption set on 100 %)
- Shanghai Track by shuttle
- Hockenheim Track by shuttle
- Teamart of Doornbos + Helmet + perfomance file update !
- Making space for the mclaren update of enzo
- Pitboxes and pitstands making working again
- Full race option making work again
- New marshalls made by fongu
- Renault updates made by rom
- 19 Tracks possibility
- Mclaren and Minardi steering wheel if finished by Stiffler and Duffer
- Intweb Williams update, set 8, 9, 10 are released
- Cool / Warm filter >> making option in csm to select it or not!
- Updating the qualrule.ini
- Patrick Friesacher helmet update made by iceman-kimi (premission granted)
- Visor making optional in csm
- Montoya helmet from Hungary dont know who made it!
- Making place to add track overlays before start made by lemming
- Adjusting the .dat files to fix the problem of the fuel

failures are a bit hard to do.
track cams involves too much work - for me at least :p
if i can get all test drivers helmets etc i could add a test drivers set that uses 22 test drivers from the year.


this will hopefully be out after the belgium gp, and there'll be one more update after the final gp.
i'll think about compiling one file for the whole season but i think it could easily be 2-3-400mb

but i think i've said before the 2006 set should be a peice of cake

this set actually started out as a winter test set :p

without looking into it yet i'll probably make a testers/real option so if you choose testers you get all other options as well. basically duplicationg the set with one or two ini lines
what does gp2edit have?
it will be harder having the testers appear magically just for friday testing, but i wont rule it out yet

I know MDBSnake did Montoya's Hungary helmet, but was it ever released? If it was, does anyone know where to get it from, or can someone send me it please?

I'd like to put it in the game, as it looks like it wasn't a one off, as he used it in Turkey too.

In gp2edit you have ~10 spare /test drivers.. Just needed to clik driver what you wanted to replace like "[03] Michael Schumcher" and then just roll down the list and select any other driver what you want to use..

You was able to swap places of any drivers and test drivers..

@b-tone - Couldn't you split the update (either when compressed or no) into smaller files using WinRar or something. Then you could break the 400Mb or so into maybe up to 10 smaller files so a host doesn't have to transmit 400Mb in one go, but rather over a couple of files?

Guys is not the time yet to discuss how to bring it out cause thats months away, lets focus on the next update i would say!
