Hi Tony,

I just made the conversion of the material that it is in MOD.
I used GP4Genius, ZModeler and the 3DMax. (in that order)
For the visor, I created a texture gray gradient.
Good you to have approved, I am with some problems to do other renders but when it gets to solve my problem with the modelling I put new renders.

Renders helmets: Laffite, Villeneuve, Jody Scheckter, Piquet, Depailler and Lauda.

I know well what it is this, I had problem with the texture the same.
I created a new for the Senna.



Rendertime: 185 min.
I liked it its to render, could have HDRI in it.

Really cool renders there!!
This render took you 185 minutes??? Which renderer do you use then? That sounds incredible to me...the McLaren-render up there took me 8 mins only, sure it's not that high-quality as yours here but still the difference in render time is enormous...imo.

A friend asked so that he made the image in high resolution with final quality for impression of a poster.
I also used some setups with high values in 3D Max for test of render.
The final image was with 60x40cm saves in TIFF for a final resolution of 300dpi. (or something similar I don't remember the final values well)

hey,
i am pretty new to this render stuff so i used a brazil tutorial and followed all the steps but when i finally got by the last step to create the render i got a message that brazil can't make renders of higher resolutions than 512x384 :S. Someone got a sollution?

Yeah, get the full version, or another plugin called (i think) BigRender
