Ah! ok. I set the rims in slot 2 (BAR) on mclaren with Team Editor and now McLaren have Enkei rims, but BAR have Bridgestones!.

wow. cool. never knew this would work! so again for all - set team 2 (regardless of the team) to mclaren tyres in teameditor and in perf file set only team02 (or any other team you want, team02 is mclaren in 2004) to tyres type "2". and voila, mclaren has enkei rims (as long as you installed the enkei textures for mclaren into cars.wad). was this known before? cool stuff, i guess the teameditor setting forces gp4 to load the textures, while gpxpatch overrides the settings which team uses which tyres. :)

EDIT:

team02 in perf file is the third team as perf files begin numbering teams with 00.

gpxpatch -> gpxset -> performance file. i am using nic acciari's 2004 one from gp4italia. it's a simple text file really, where you can change driver names/skills, team names/bhps and of course tyres used.

But, BAR still has B tyre.

check wheel_mclaren.tex in cars.wad too to make sure it's michelin/enkei

EDIT:

here's simple instructions on how to do it:

1. install enzojz's tyres (or any others for that matter), making sure that wheel_bridgestone tex's are bbs, wheel_michelin are oz and wheel_mclaren are michelin/enkei... i did this manually by unraring enzojz's installer and choosing the right files (view them with lo2k's texresizer - www.realgpx.com)

2. use teameditor, set team2 tyre type to mclaren, regardless of team (mine is williams as it's 2004 order)

3. edit your perf file (gpxpatch->gpxset->perf file), make sure team01 (second team actually as gpxpatch numbers teams from 00) has tyre type "0", which is michelin/oz and set mclaren's tyre type (team02 in 2004, team04 in 2005) to "2", which forces it to use wheel_mclaren tex's.

that's it. mclaren uses enkei rims regardless of slot number! yay! :)

(but I have to set B tyre->1, M tyre->0, in perf file of GPXpatch.)

by nstalling this will it give me higher PO hits?
T the moment my present rims become gray solid discs when the car is driving no the blur required I tried adjusting it in the f1graphics file but it only served to F?+k my tyes up!

These cars in the picures are no moving, are they blurred when they are moving?
