BTCC Mod: Delayed... Sorry Guys!!!

Hi Everyone

After months of rapid progress on all the mods, We've come to some problems with the carshapes by an author, these carshapes have been leeched from other author(s).
After finding out this discovery, i've personly lost motivation on these projects "BTCC MOD, BTCC '05 MOD and the WTCC MOD".
So i'm taking break from them and looking at doing some smaller projects to get my motivation back again...

Basicly: the leeching discovery has lost my motivation...

maybe you could make F1 cars ?

there is still progress though Im still working on the civic shape and mg textures Hopefully flash will be back in the mood for some moding but everyone needs a break as you do begin to lose motivation when working so long on one thing

so was someone from your mod group leeching cars from other authors ?

sad to see the progress decrease and i wonder who the leecher was anyway i am still working on Jason Hughes textures for you albeit at a slower pace now

And Now "I think" the same car as above (Look Closely) but from the ETCC Mod (F199-02) by a different author.

does look similar but wireframes look different .

so are you 100% sure he leeched ?

to me it looks liek he used it as a base and the aded polys to cover up holes and add detaisl etc

to me it looks like its been imported to 3d max and meshsmoothed?

maybe you could find the orginal author and ask their permissions

That car is an absolute mess! Polys are overlapping eachother, and they have been used unnecessarily. No question it has been leeched. Sad to see this keep happening!

Yeah, it's sad to see this is happening again. But maybe you can try asking permission to the original author of the car. There's still a little hope...

just forget the edenbridge bmw for now, if you have to, it only raced at the first few rounds anyway, as nice as it was!

Imo, it's best not to issue release dates, as more often than not, unforseen things will inevitably delay the project.

good idea andrew, but the problem is we need this car to make it 22 cars on the grid so it makes it easier.

mate, thats fine, i totally understand and im 120% behind your every decision. i will carry on with my little projects in this mod, and keep you informed with them and in a month or so it would be nice to have you back, but get your motivation back first mate.
