Lee, which BAR do you use? I thought there was only one in existence. Also does that cool filter come as an ini file?

If so could you mail them to me, you should still have my address.

Cheers.

might have missed someone answer this, so sorry for a pointless post if it is!

F1 cars run with negative camber for two reasons

the easiest 1 is the first one. the shape of the tyre is more aerodynamically efficient on a straight in a position of 1 to 3 degrees of negative camber.

the second is a bit more tricky to explain. when a car is in cornering, the outside wheel is placed under greater load, due to load transfer. the tyre, leans outwards, which can cause a reduction in contact patch and therefore the amount of grip available. running a small amount of negative camber means that when the tyre is under load, the distorsion actually causes the tyre to take the position of being totally upright. hence, the maximum contact patch is exploited.

hope that makes sense

I know the ini file is clicked on via the cinfo tab in GPx patch but what do you do with the TGA file Lee?

which is what? i'm at a loss as to where to put both files, and what do i have to do to get it to work in GP4? does it involve GPx patch?

If so could you be so kind as to give details what to do?

Thanks

put both files in the gpx patch panel folder then in when you start gp4 using gpx patch go to c.info and then select the coolfilter ini in one of the free slots..

What i do is

1) click on a open box in the GPXPatch
2) open the folder box and find the colorfilters folder
3) clcik on the coolfilter or warmfilter ini.
4) then it should appaer in the the panel
5)run the patch right afterwards and you should be good to go

You just tick an empty box in GPxCInfo. Then open up the filter ini. If you want both warm and cool, do them in separate boxes. Remember the number of the box. When you go into the game, the filters will come on. To turn them off, you need to press Ctrl+the number of the filter box (if you have warm and cool selected in GPxPatch then they bopth show up at the start and it looks terrible).
