which cam do you use when driving?

i have my hands on my wheel , a driver watches cockpit view not his hands , never seen a driver sitting on the tcam

Cockpit. Greater sense of realism, and the thrill when you nail that blind corner :D

T-Cam just gives the whole view of the track, I dont like it.

yeh kentauro but since when did the wheel just steer itself? radio controlled cars maybe?

Actually,the cockpit view in GP4 is not as realistic as people would think. Since the effect of periheral vision cannot be simualted in-game from cockpit view, t-cam gives a wider field of vision. Also, having sat in an actual f1 car a few years ago, the view was not as claustrophobic as the cockpit view in GP4.
So, after everything is said and done, i drive in T-cam view.

Yeah, T-cam for me, though I also sometimes use trackside - though incidence of crashing goes up exponentially at that point, though you get some good back end action too

another t-cam user. wider field of view & more accurate vision on braking points. sometimes i use cockpit view but braking points seems closer than the real thing :-p. i havent dominated the back-chase cam. i found it nice to use it for driving but u need time to find an accurate braking point :-p

More sense of speed and realism from t-cam. Cockpit view blows. Its like playing an entirely different game. But then again i think if you race either one of them for a long time you will get used to them.

the funneh thing is that GP4 and F1C are the only sims I play with tcam. all others are played with cockpit :s

I only use the cockpit. It's too easy to drive with the tcam imo... easier to judge turns.

I drive GP3 using cockpit (zoomed out a bit) GP4, I use T-cam, because I get a 25%PO hit using cockpit

i would prefer to use the cockpit view but its very slow for some reason on my system

I use cockpit but zoom it out as far as you can to get more realism so you aren't with your face in the steering wheel Shame on all you T-cam users :D hahah
