i just get the free trial wen it comes out but they havent released on l8ty..

but i got a new comp and now have the psp 9 free trial

Hi i'm still currently deciding whether to get the game. It seems that there is alot to download and complicated.

i have a query here
does downloading GPxpatch allow it constantly patch the new seasons in etc.

No, new seasons are downloadable, and usually loaded into GP4 via CSM. Check the GP4FAQ sticky topic as well for more info.

Do i understand that to get 2008 spec stuff you would have to collect a variety of authors cars individually?
I have gp4italia's 2007 trackpack but what does the job that gp3 edit does for gp4? ie putting in drivers names in etc?
I also thought GP4 builder was 4 making tracks?
lots of spadework needed for me i reckon!!

PS have now got a proper version of this off ebay to replace the iffy one some $$$!!*** sold me on there!! so plz dont delete me this time lol

I am not aware of a 2008 mod being available now, although in the future it probably will be. Some 08 cars are available, but this requires manually inserting them one by one into the wad, not an easy job for a newbie. More often than not it usually results in a full re-install as the sim will no longer run after being fiddled with by the inexperienced. Use WadUpdater to modify the wad. Backup, did I say backup, yes, backup. Got it, backup. btw, don't forget, backup.

lol yea i get it- i already backed up the entire install before even patching it!- havent even installed any mods yet lol
