Problem with 1979 mod

Hi! I was playing for the first time the championship season with this mod and in the qualy of the second race 3 times the games crashed this was the message, if anyone can help thanks in advance. (BTW the first race everything was great, the only thing I touched was the backmarkers)

can you change gpxpatch's verbosity level and post tthe full log?
which track is crashing and when does it crash?

Sorry Tony I don´t undestand the first you wrote. I was driving with Alan Jones in Interlagos all the times that crashed, now I was watching tv and let the qualify run, I was Jones but I was in pit, and it was Interlagos but I loaded Austria (as a random choose) in the configurables and it finished the session ok. Could it be a problem wit the track?

With the 1979 mod dselected in CSM choose the Gpxpatch tab and change the Verbosity to High. Then if it crashes post that log.
But its probably track related - which trac is it?

Verbosity still seems to be on low. And you could update your GPxPatch to the latest version.

No, still crashes...very strange the first race everything were OK, then in the second and third started the problems...is the only mod that had that problem, also when the games crashes I started the mod again and the names are changed to the original GP4 , although the pictures are from 1979 in the driver menu , the names are from 2001 and the performance in the race too. (The cars has the performance of 2001, I mean the Brabham wich are 5 and 6 has the performance of the Williams BMW, almost in the front of the grid, when in the 1979 they are in midfield or back of the grid)

I use CSM and I do the same that I do with the other mods (I have the GPxPatch 3.92)

Looks like another case of WADCACHE
And by the look too late to fix. Needs installing again the mod.

Everytime you exit any CSM MOD you have to right click over the
mods name and "delete wadcache". Thats a must to keep these fantastic
mods working.

When exactly does it crash? If its during loading then probably a problem with the cars or track (did you install the Renault fix?)
If its in game that it crashes it could be hardware.

It sounds like it hasn't restored properly so click on restore after it crashes - you don't need to delete any wadcache for CSM to work properly.

I do need to delete the wadcache else i run into trouble.
Also Zaz advised me last year how to use well Csm and ill stick to that.
Last i think for every user has different experiences with csm and problems,
so its not the same for everyone but i think i can give an opinion based on my experience.

there's no need to clear wadcache, otherwise i wouldn't create such a feature.
maybe i adviced to clear it at some point because it was using (corrupted) cache when it shouldn't.
a bit like an internet browser could suffer.....

wadcache should never corrupt a mod and is only meant to massively speed up loading times.
if you don't want to use the feature then it's smarter to simply turn it off than it is to manually clean it each time.

so to sum it up: you can delete the wadcache just once to see if the game is behaving differently due to fauly cache.
but wadcache shouldn't cause serious issues

The game crashes on qualy aor in race, the game loads pefectly. (It´s the only mod wich I have some problems)

Do some tests - see if it always crashes at the same part of the track, or same amount of time into the game. Try some different tracks in that slot, etc. Close any other programs.
Open TSM and install that track profile, then start GP4 either with the gp4.exe and/or gpxpatch and see if the same thing happens
