:O Hearing James Allen for a hour and a half is bad enough for a Grand Prix, i think I would crash in anger if he was in GP4 too

for comical purposes :P

i really do love driving now simply for this sound update, it just seems to make the whole experience of racing more enjoyable :D

Great to hear you're having as much fun as I am with my new ITV soundset!

Here's some better news: Tomorrow at [www.motorsportfotos.co.uk]?, you'll be able to download the NEW and IMPROVED v.1.04!

- Added commentary to starting-lights procedure

- Re-optimized "StartingLightsOut" sequence: Removed background noise between
speech components and added more commentary on first lap

- Added more commentary on pit-out lap

- Readjusted timing of certain speech samples

Make sure to update to v.1.04... the first lap commentary alone is worth the update!

It would be even better with 2 seperate updates. One just full of radio commentary, like a real F1 driver would experience and the current version with the ITV extra's added in.

I personally just like the radio comments as its more realistic, but very good work all the same!

hey i seem to have a problem connecting to the download site

I think there down right now, Im having problems too. It was working fine earlier in the day.

It appears as though Dragon Racing Forum is offline ?!? I'll email Leslie (one of the administrators) to see what the problem may be.

Hi cozmicoz, Downloaded your sound set and I must say from what i heard playing the .wavs its ghuna be amazing. But the sounds dnt work ingame :S. I had this prblem befrore i think its the format of the file. I dont really want to have to loder the bit depth or sample rate though! Any ideas i really want to give this a go.

ithought i had a problem with the sounds not playing, as well but I altered the decibel level in gpxpatch sound tab to 250 or 150 db

Try altering your settings to that decibel level - it now works great for me!!

Hi, Thanks for the tips guys. It was me after all i was trying to be smart and use subfolders :P. Didnt work, even though i altered the soundset.ini location too. Never mind..these sound work a treat now.

There was a discussion earlier about other event sounds and if they need to be coded. I tohught of another one...

When you run wide (all 4 wheels of track) an event is written to the gpx patch log (Go ingame press 2 and then drive off the road and you'll see the logfile change) Maybe we could use this event to trigger a "And Off, off, off Goes!......." sorta thing

Keep up the amazing work cozmicoz!

Just guna give ver 1.04 a spin!

Have any more triggers or events been found and is there a way to ensure that only one sound gets played, instead of having 2 or more sounds sometimes playing at the same time or overlapping?
