not when you know how to use it it isn't - I can barely use photoshop because I'm used to the layout/tools etc in psp, doesn't mean it's bad, altho possibly overcomplicated for just texturing use.

LOL guys! ;) But Photoshop rulez, hehe! ;)
I think it's just a matter of likes and dislikes... or maybe of which one you learn to paint on... Both are great programs for painting! I personally use Photoshop just because it was the first I could get and I learned on it :)

you're right diego - it depends on what you learn, but also.. photoshop rulez ;)

i'm sure psp is fine if you know what you're doing, but i still thikn the creators of it should be dragged off to the nearest gulag and made to eat gruel everyday :p

Yer, they've fadged up all the brushes in 8 and 9, trying to make it all arty farty, and I can't seem to be able to get normal style brushes for it. In this respect, psp7 is much better.

I use Photoplus 9.0 as it's the only one I have installed and the only one I have legally. Thing is the brushes are annoying me as well :( They are dodgy too. I think I might have a free version of PSP 7 someowhere on a coverdisk actually, since I actually know how to use that from my gta car making days :D
