Names

hey guys


I have 2005 sepang update installed on my GP4. But now I want to change the name of christian Klien to my own name and add another helmet. how can i do that.
i have tried teameditor but i donno how it works.

use an editor like TeamEditor, and on the drivers and team names page, click 'import' so it imports the current names, then simply change the names, and click 'export'.

put your helmet tex into 'GPSAVES\Carsets\2005\Data\Helmets\**THIS BIT**\Klien'
**THIS BIT** depends what set you use - hi, std, or lo and which helmets you've installed.

and for your name edit the files in 'Data\Performance' with a text editor

Make sure you restore the carset. When you have it installed the file is moved to the GPxPatch directory. If you installed it permanently, check the GPxPatch folder.

how is that file named than. ???

Check GpxPatch and see which file it's pointing to.

there should be a 2005-Sepang performance.txt in the Data\Performance folder

depending where ou installed it it should be somewhere like : "C:\Program Files\Grand Prix 4\GPSAVES\Carsets\2005\Data\Performance"

ive have inserted the helmet in de folder you said. but i see the old helmet in game.
