2005 : Sepang update **Physics update to be tested**

b-tone, I have CSM build 28. I have GPXPatch 2.91 installed. I have version 1.02 GP4.exe, installed the 9.6 patch when I did the clean re-install. I have original 2005 carset by Toney, and the Sepang update. Still get tires that when moving have only half the front tire. After a number of installs, deletes, reinstall, I still get four jaguars in the game. Car skins for Toyota, Williams, BAR, and othes all messed up. It has been the same everytime I install the Sepang update. I have followed the steps you listed, still no luck.

that has something to do with your graphic settings. Try running 32bit textures and theres a line in the graphics file to solve your tyre problem I think. Do a search you will probaly find the thread

Anyone got any ideas why my wheel is vibrating from side to side since installing the update.It starts as the engines fire up on the grid and i,ve tried all the settings in the control options but its still there.The update must have changed something as i can start through gpxpatch only and its fine and was ok with the melbourne update.Any suggestions appreciated as this is ruining an otherwise brilliant update for me?

i have the same. don't know what causes it yet, but it's most likely tweaker.
for now there's a way to avoid it..
just rewind i tiny bit in replay with F6. then press F2 to go to the end of the replay.
that solves it for me. but when i pause again my wheel starts to go nuts again.
i'm pretty sure it's got something to do with one of the tweaker settings. i'll take a look at them myself when i find the time to do so

Cheers ZaZ thanks for the reply,just been into the tweaker configuration file and disabled the ffenginevib and all is now fine.The effect is way too strong on my wheel which is causing the problem.

what do you mean use the full hi res season as a base? i tried starting up the 2005 season his res (with quickstart unchecked) and while in game, copied the track wads (from the main gp4 folder) into a seperate folder. after exiting the game, i re-copied those track wads from the seperate folder back to the main gp4 folder, there was no difference which probably meant i went somewhere wrong..

i have some problems, i never used csm before but i download it for the 2005 melboure and sepang but i see everythin white ! it dont works so somebody help me... thanks

i dont know if cameras can be loaded through CSM, but if they can your welcome to use my 2005 Onboard Camera Set, b tone!

I've installed the melbourne set..ANd then download the sepang update en dubbelclicked it.
CSM (build 28) started and asked me to choose the rigthe map to update.
I selected ' 2005' and clicked OK.
Nothing happend... Then I started with quickstart unchecked. But all the cars are that ones from the melbourne-set...So nothing was updated...
How is that possible?

thank you and all others for this great 2005 Update, it was a hard way to
download the Melbourne Update (27 Mb) with a modem, now the Sepang Update
is still bigger (39 Mb), so I have to download it in some steps.
So my request: is it possible to split the updates in some parts, then it is
for people like me with a modem and no chance to get DSL, easier to get.

@ZaZ : How can you be 4 sec. quicker than the cc's cars ? Do you run with the default setup ? or do you use your own ? if so, can you send your setups by mail , cause I'm a lot slower (about 4 sec in sepang)
