Yeah. Enzojz gave me permissions to release it!!! Now im too busy studying for my exams (sorry), but I'll try to have the add-on textures ready to upload it in the next two days. :D

Theres a big problem. im alowed to release only the textures as an add-on (not the shapes), but as you know, this nt version needs shapes that call diferent textures:

(car_benetton_car1_lod*.gp4 must call hi_renault_*.tex for trulli`s car)
(car_benetton_car2_lod*.gp4 must call hi_renault_*b.tex for alonso's car)

If you use the textures with the shapes you have, you'll obtain two trulli's cars...

I have the modified different calling shapes that someone sent to me one day (i cant remember who) but i'm not allowed to add them in the pack.
I know how to edit them, but then ingame, the engine and carb textures are corrupted. :(

So i wanna know if someone knows how to make that car2 call "hi_renault_*b.tex" instead "hi_renault_*.tex", please explain it in a readme file and send it to me, and i'll add it in the textures pack to explain the instalation method to eachone who wanna enjoy this car...

I think that without this instalation-readme.txt file, there's no reason to release it... come on people :S

- Open the car lods in 3D Editor
- Click the Texture menu, and then Rename Textures
- Find the 3 texs used for the car's livery, and rename them to the corresponding name
- Click Apply
- Save the lod and you're done :)

just release with stipulation requires 3deditor, i think anyone who is gonna be doing race specific wads will be advanced enough to do the lod work themselves

i did same what was explained in the read me file, but i am getting alonso car white.

i am new user to this editor side , so kindly respond to me without hestitation.

my question's are

1.is car lods should be extracted from cars.wad

2. in read me it is said that rename the tex like

from to
--> hi_renault_1.tex --> hi_renault_1b.tex

but when i press rename text in 3d editor, i get only three renault_x.tex. there is no hi_reanult_x.tex.

3. should i change each car lod2 and save it?


i am using the nemo enzoj car renault 24 released 10-4-2004. if i am using version wrong, kindly specify the version i have to use



here what am i doing wrong. i am getting only the trulli car and it was excellent.

I use the one that's available on enzojz's site. I extracted the files from my nt-cars.wad. 3DEditor gave my "normal" results: hi_renault_1 etc.
