Here it is, after a quite calm period of nearly 2 months, here is 3DEditor again.

As I promised on the track editing thread that I will release a new version with auto-generated .bin files and some other fixes, here it is, and you will also find new features that could make your life a bit easier too :)

As usual, here is the changes list:

v11.3 (january 15th 2005)
New: Add/Delete .dat track sectors and pit sectors
New: hints for physics add and del buttons
New: CC-Line Import/Export
New: Track cameras Import/Export
New: .bin vertices color can now be edited
Nex: First attempt to generate .bin files
New: Splash screen
Enhanced: Unlimited Car objects re-ordering
Enhanced: Better Textured Wireframe render quality
Enhanced: .ccl file icon and registry association
ENhanced: .tcm registry association
Enhanced: Camera automatically faces .col faces
Fixed: Displace XY/Z mode was too fast with non tracks .gp4 files
Fixed: Dynamically updated CC-line when Track sectors are edited
Fixed: Error when trying to select a new GP4 path
Fixed: Rotation jump when camera was upside-down
Fixed: Useless tabs with .bin files

And for this release, I made the effort to create a short Splash screen so here it is in exclusivity ;)

well about the enhanced rendering part made track texturing editing more precise :) and also the re-ordering car parts.


lemme guess the tracks : Barcelona and France :)

btw laurent great work on this i have a query about TeamPatcher3.0 why did the updating times increase since the v2.4 release??

But you lost by 4 minutes, Mini-Maestro, as SDI found them at 0h57 ;)

For TeamPatcher, I will check that, it's a bit far in my mind but I thought it would be rather quicker than slower...

does it also do cockpits, wheels, any gp4 shape?

i wanted more as i often have things like upper_rear_wing_hi,upper_rear_wing_low etc

nope Tony. i've just resorted a car with more than 35 objects just to see if it works. and it worked. Still got crashes with psp8 tga's on my side.
who are the folks in your pics Tony :) ?

I'm sorry shuttle, ask psp8 team to use a standard tga format then : / or convert your tga to tga with another tool to be able to see them in 3DEditor.

shutt1e - You too! Everytime I try to load up 3DEditor with tga's edited by PSP 8 or 9, 3DEditor just doesn't load. I've found that PSP7 is the last PSP release to work with tga's and 3DEditor.

Oh and by the way [www.aufpet.com], might explain b-tone's sig. :)
