1999bar villeneuve wing problem

Hi new member here to this site which is awesome btw I downloaded 1999 mod from gp4italia everything is ok except that villeneuves wings sponsers do not show up in game the car is fine just the front,rear and endplates are plane can anyone help thanks

that could be a difficult problem. try redownloading and reinstalling the mod. and it is very good

can you post a scren? i had a quick look in the 99 wad but all tex's seem there

i can only post one, if i'm at home from work today

easy problem to solve.

1) un pack the 1999cars.wad with easywad.

2) using gp4master extract the 512x512 tga file from hi_villeneuvewing.tex.

3) delete hi_villeneuvewing.tex.

4) copy hi_zontawing.tex as hi_villeneuvewing.tex.

5) using gp4master replace and downsample the texture in the new hi_villeneuvewing.tex with the tga file you extracted in step 2).

6) save hi_villeneuvewing.tex.

7) repack the 1999cars.wad with easywad.

that's it, problem solved

hmm, nice shot of car, but i was just curious, can you have two different rim textures or colors in game on the same car.... bar had red and blue rims... if not i understand

Yep! BAR had blue rims on 555 side and red ones on luckies side... But I think(!) it is impossible to do that to gp4...
