1994 mod beta version - released!!!

Hello all!

Well, if you were visiting 1994 mod official site then maybe you've seen that we decided to release beta version of the mod. So now we can say that it'll be released in January. Here's the list of things that this beta will be featuring:

dont forget the barge boards.

did this cars have the right width? remember: this old cars was 200 cm wide.

you do know that we're not completely stupid and dont look at pics or anything before we make the cars, think you should look at the brazil version of the cars before you criticise

Always thought Mckey's benetton was better, how is v2.0 going?

thanks for kind words! it's still wip. lod_0 is finished (but without advanced damage model) and textures almost ready. but don't expec it too soon!

BTW, only a couple of these cars have got a realistic damage model, as they have been made a lot of time ago. We're going probably to add it for the final release

personally i mostly liked my footwork, but until i saw Loren's FW16! this is really unbelievable car! absolutely best in the mod!

Can I ask why Lotus isnt going to be included in this mod?

I was going to sya about Lotus too. Would it be possible to maybe release the other three teams that aren't in it as separate cars for downlaod. I'd rather have Lotus than Laurousse for example, but I know others wouldn't. Those extr three would make that possible

But very good work. Been waiting for a decent 1994 Mod for GP4 or F1C for ages, and now it's finally coming. Just a pity we can't have 94 tracks like Aida or Jerez, although hopefully we'll have Imola by then.

what of listed teams you want to replace with lotus?
actually it's a long discussion. we have 14 teams in 1994 and only 11 teams ingame. so for the beta release i took top 11 teams in constructors cup that year and put it to the game. i think it's a reasonable approach.
but if you like you may download duffer's lotus and replace one the teams with it - no problem. pacific and simtek are in development too as far as i know, so there will be all 14 teams available.
in final release i think there will be a race specific wads and we will include teams into it basing on a race results. but maybe not - it's just an idea and subkect for discussion.

Yes beyond the Lotus and of the Larousse (green).
I alone I saw screenshots of the Pacific and of the mortal Simtek.
Really healthy few ingame for so much teams.
A penalty. ....
But positive interest is that we have practically all of the cars of the season.
