Hay to everyone out there,

I downloaded the new GPX Patch and installed it and the Game flat would not load at all not even to the Menu it would go black and crash.

I reverted back to 3.83 and it worked Fine

Just wondering if anyone else had this problem and if there is a way around it I would prefer to use the newest version of every program and this one just does not work

Cheers,

GPxPatch should generate a crash log. Post it on the GPxPatch forum and Rene might be able to give a diagnosis.

I asked SDI, and he said that it was a bug with GP4 1.00, and will be fixed for 3.91

Yep its for sure a bug with gp4.exe v1.00 told already in other thread. It happend with version 3.82 also and Rene fixed it then. He probabely forget it again like most are using 1.02, still don't know whats the difference between 1.00 and 1.02 as i have no problems at all with my game running gp4.exe 1.00!

Basicaly, v1.02 changes vs v1.00 are:

- Fixed bug when car was stuck in pits
- Fixed bug at Indianapolis where cars where somewhat flying in the banked curve
- Fixed bug with some reversed helmets between two drivers
- Fixed bug with Thrustmaster FFB wheel that can't use separated axes
- Fixed most cases of "bouncing" damaged parts
- Many minor changes in menus colors
- Surely many other things I forgot or didn't noticed

I still uses gp4 v1.00
I think the changes to v1.02 are too nominal to upgrade to
I will not upgrade to GPX 3.90 untill I know that Rene has fixed the bug

i only wish it was fixed. but it depends on the editor. most of Lo2k's work with any version as long as its decrypted :-)
