All the mods....progress??

so how are all the mods coming along?

as far as i know we have 1979, 1986, 1988, 1991, 1992, 1994, 1995, and 2004. all to be finished.

are any nearly ready?

well, 1988 is 99.9% done. i just need to try each track to make sure there's no missing textures etc.

1979 is going well - heres a list of car progress:
Lotus 79 - done
Lotus 80 - model done
Tyrrell 009 - done
Brabham BT48 - done (bt46(1 race) and bt49(2 races) wont be done*)
McLaren M28 - done
McLaren M29 - model done
ATS D2 - done (D3(4) wont be done)
Ferrari 312-T4 - done (312-t3(2) wont be done)
Fittipaldi F6a - done (F5A(8) and F6(3) wont be done)
Renault - model done
Shadow DN9 - painting almost finished
Walter Wolf Racing WR8 - done (WR7(5) and WR9(5) wont be done)
Team Ensign - (wont be done)
Team Merzario - (wont be done)
Ligier JS11 - done
Williams FW07 - done (FW06(4) wont be done)
Arrows A2 - done (A1(7) wont be done)
Team Rebaque 79 - model done (HR100(3) wont be done)
Alfa Romeo 179 - done (177(2) wont be done)

so theres 11 cars done, 5 in progress and 15 that wont be made - there was lots of cars in 79
other non car things are going well, and i'll talk with shutt1e about putting out a beta set soon.

as far as i know 1995 is not moving forward too much. alot of things have been finshed, and perhaps when 1988 is released i'll update the 95 csm and we can release a beta set.
csm 1.25 has a cool update thingy, so i thought of releasing the set as it is* and then release updates as they come.

*aleast 8 cars are mostly finished, and the williams looks alomst there too.

what about the 1992 mod ? (i am finalising the helmets, don't have a lot of time to work on it...)

1992 is going well i think.
atm is slow down by my personal problems, but we working hard on this

the 86 is on it's way. i don't update this mod gfx from a while and it still needs physics and perf.

dont forget the btcc mod. not much has been said about it for ages but that is because of flash's injury. i believe he is getting better now so thats good. me and kieran have been doing our various projects and are getting there, i dont know how fred is getting on but overall i would say its about 20% complete.

what about cart 2001 from gpx cartworld? waiting patiently oggo!

anyway nearly all the car textures are done although i need to redo my BCN textures as i have lost the folder they were in and i can no longer find their car logos either
ebi is doing the second fantasy car @ the moment and it looks great
the only problem left is helmets although i paint helmets these wacky F3000 designs would kill me designing them as i am not that good @ helmet design but they will be done.
release date i dunno maybe early next year

hey mini maestro if you need some help with f3000 i'm available to help if you need me (i dont want to see it go down the pan again) im a half decent car texturer (hopeless at helmets sorry) and could probably do small things like teamart and compile it for csm

Team art its done,3 cars left to paint.There is a template so you just need to find the sponsors and paste them in the car,the most difficult liveries to paint are done so you dont need to be a great painter to achieve a good result.
But now the F3000 mod is being finished by Mini Maestro so its all up to him.
I have done everything that I could to make this mod for the community but after all the bad things that happened with it I decided to quit the project.
Thanks to Mini Maestro and to Ebi it seems that all my work wasnt in vain.

Race_Monkey any help would be great even just getting screenshots to make into loading screens....

ChampCar2001 is going on, slowly too, but we're working hard on it. We're almost doing it from scratch, in hi-res and with many many details added. It's a long way to the end anyway...

not sure on the 1991 mod its all slowed down again, and progress is slow, we do have several teams done though
