Hi, ive been making some tyres but i just dont apear to get the tread mapping right, it acts really weird :S has anyone got any tips as to how the uv map has to be setup?

also the rim, it is in my tyre but it apears to, or rather doesnt appear at all!

You have to have the exact correct names for the different objects in the wheel shape and they have to be in the right order. If you don't or if there are any extra objects this happens

My PC is on the scrapheap but I'll get something sorted soon. As soon as I can I'll release them.

For Tread mapping you just have to map the entire tread as one long surface. The texture will cover only about 1/6 of the tread. Make all the sections of the mapping to be the same length and then scale the tread mapping to fit the tread perfectly.
