Andrea's 2.0 Tyres with Viper's 3D Rims??

I am trying to use Andrea75's 2.0 Texture Set with Viper's 3D Rims

Can I use these together? And are there any bugs?


if I can in the f1graphics.cfg, in the line Rotate Wheels via Textures, Andrea's says to put 1 and Viper's says to put it to 0

alpha channels

i believe i think, i guess?

i can't remember specifically, but alpha channels will affect the outcome of how the textures will look like on your rims because viper's textures are design to be mapped on a 3d model not on a sprite

this happened before with "calaen's?" rim textures
try checking with zmodeler or lo2k's 3deditor with alpha on

The problem, as raztahz says, is the correct texture mapping.
If you want to use only treads texture you will not have any kind of bugs or problem because this textures are fullt compatible with 3d Rims, but is not the same with rims/tyres textures because they uses different mapping system.
Anyway I will release in a future release both textures, one kind for 2D and one for 3D rims.
In the meantime you can use my treads textures on 3d set.
