McLaren MP4-19b "wide nose"

2 more screenshots of the mp4-19b with the new nosecone. there are a few issues i have to consider with this car ie. should i keep the 3 front wing elements for the coming races or make it 2 like we saw in monza and if i should make the monza spec rear wing or keep it the way it is for the last few races.




£10 says m4d will plaster their logos over these screenshots for their site :\

M4D has finally worked out that authros do not appreciated there work having there logos on it and have apparently stopped doing that

As for the versions, how difficult is it to simply re-do the wing elemets? If its only like a 30min job, then just do both. I personally wud say the Belgium edition is more important

belgium is more important as Dave said as that will be used at the upcoming races Monza was just a special case.
but if you can make a low downforce rear wing i would be happy

that's how i looked at it before but the majority would rather have the wide nose version. making the Spa and Monza versions only takes 5 minutes for me to do, just merge the nose over from the version before, but would probably take Bojan a bit longer and would be a nuisance for him tbh since he also has to repaint that specific part to fit the mapping.

doing all versions means Bojan would have to remap the whole nosecone from scratch. knowing him he likes it mapped perfectly and basically mapping then repainting the rear wings, front wings, narrow-wide nosecones, it's a pain in the bootius maximus to do coupled with the fact that he'll have to remap the whole car to start with anyway.

as for doing the low downforce wings, how i see it is Monza is one race so i don't want to make a spec for one race. i generally want the car to be used in generic races where downforce is more visibly noticable on the wings

Well if they are going back to the thin nose later then itwud be best to stick low downforce setup on the wide nosed one since that is actaully what it rean like,

I agree with doing the Spa version. McLaren weren't having a good season really until Kimi's Spa win. After that interest in the MP4-19B went up, so keep with the Spa version.

James Allen or Martin Brundle (can't remember) said they would be using the wide nose for the rest of the season.

i would prefer spa version since it's a winner.

If you set specific cars.wad on, you can have a Monza wad. But you cant have all the Monza downforce because they havent been released yet!

which is my point
