How do you guys use GP4? Use to run championships at home? Or just at leagues? Which is the most used carset configuration on your opinion, just the 2004 cars?
Just curious...

I mostly do single races or practice sessions on tracks along side real F1 (sad I know, but we all do it! :)) I mostly use 2004 cars, but have been doing alot of Formula Renault recently. ;)

Sometimes I go for quickraces for a bit of light relief from my University work on the PC, but I like to run entire race weekends in parallel to the real F1 events.

The thing is, I'm new to this forum and I have no idea how you folks add new cars etc to GP4, and certaily I didn't know you could access different carset. How do you do it?

I have added the Viper ferrari from 2003 using it's auto installer, as i'd have no idea how to do it any other way. But I find it is much harder to drive in rookie mode, as the throttle cuts the revs for even a tiny deviation from the best racing line. Makes it very hard to drive, even though the car does look great!

hello and welcome to the forum, lo2k has done an excellent faq which covers how to install new cars amongst other things, you can find it here: [www.grandprixgames.org]

i have been running my f1 career for about 6 months now, spanning from 1999 to 2004 (which i just started)

Quickrace, would like to try career mode, but don`t know a good file to install.

2004 car set, updated with all drivers and helmets, gpXpatch, soundfile.
Drivers: Webber, Raikkonen, Sato, Button
Teams: McLaren, Bar, Jaguar

I am new to this forum and to Gp4 to and I think its hard to install cars and files, but I am getting a little bit better now. Starting to understand some files.
