FW27 - UPDATE - Release News on Page 45!!!

Am quite excited about the FW27 as this will be predominately a 'new' shape, whereas before I have worked with Wai and Bojan's excellent FW26A.

I've still got to finish the 97 arrows and release that.

Ho-hum, if only there were more hours in the day - or a national holiday coming up..........

No probs Steve. With the FW27 will you make the shape yourself or adapt the FW26?

Steve are you going to attempt both shape and textures for the FW27?

I haven't decided yet which way to play it - that will come after the release of the 27 at the end of Jan - if it's similar then I could remodel (which would take less time), alternatively if it's from scratch (like the arrows a18), that'll take more time.

In answer to your Q - yes, I intend to model and paint.

Sorry this took a little longer than anticipated. It wasn't just a simple livery change. There were lots of changes to the aero package as well. I have made all the aero changes and added and removed some bits that have been altered - hope you approve.

Have just uploaded it to GPG, GP4Italia & M4Driving.

I think this is the bona fide 2005 livery, as they wouldn't send three FW26's out to Bahrain in one livery only to release a new one tomorrow - I am willing to be proved wrong though

Have just uploaded v1.1 - added some aero bits I missed on the previous version and changed the tga's in certain areas.

Am curious, why they've made such significant changes to the aero package on the Williams? Removing wings and deflective parts??

Surely if they'd been useless - why'd they run them during the season?

Unless they trully are trying to replicate the 25% less aero package for 2005!!!!
