Frame Rate Help Please

Reduce gfx and you will have up to 50 fps. It´s the only way to improve fps massively

should changing the resolution have any noticeable effect on fps?

i run with 1280 x 1024, and have experimented increasing and decreasing it, but haven't noticed an improvement in fps.

i only notice the quality of the car textures changing.

I get about 20fps on my P3 500, 256mb ram and 32mb tnt2/m64....

on most of the circuits in race, anyway... on medium detail in 800x600x16
