which joystick?

My joystick is dying. I need a replacement. It should be:

a) cheap-very cheap
b) good
c) available somewhere that accepts english currency

anybody got any reccomendations-I'm sick of careering into the wall on the banked turn at Indy!

i have the logitech 3d force. never used it to play gp4 tho, cost me 35£

Ah, the one that's died is/was a logitech-not so keen on them after this one.

Oh, yeah, while I'm here-how well should a GeForce FX 5200 run GP4? I've a 2.4GHz Celeron Processor and also 768 RAM

Can't afford it at the mo-my hard disk just packed in (got a Trojan from somewhere, which knackered it).

How much is a P4 these days, or should I wait until Intel goes 64bit, which would lower their price a bit

woooah just looked at p4 prices. there insane :s this is where u wished u had a amd motherboard and can pickup a good performing chip for £60 instead of £100

Would a case fan solve anything, because I dont have one at the moment (old case)

To answer the Trojan-it killed Windows, I powered off the machine about 5 times without shutting down (it refused) and the disc broke.

Formatted it twice, still no joy, so I popped a new one in this afternoon.
