GP4 in Australia

Hey all

I'm writing to find out if anyone here is from Australia. I'm 19, and have been playing the grand prix series since it's original release in 1991, so i guess you could say I have 13 years Grand Prix experience. No-one I know has played GP4 (much to my distress). I know i didn't get a great wraps here in Oz, but surely there must be more people like me out there!! I also wanted to say that if anyone has any questions about setup or anything like that (I'm right into using the Advanced Setup 2 options), I'd be more than happy to help.

PS, It took me so long to find a group like this!!! I'm finally home!!!

i'm from Australia, but i only recently got GP4 and dont race myself much. i usually watch the AI race.

I love to watch the AI race sometimes. I even pretend to commentate. Actually, this one time, I connected my copmuter to my my TV, then my TV to my VCR and taped a Whole race. It was awesome. I watched a full GP4 race on TV.

Another Aussie Here, Like The_General I have a long history of Crammond's games dating back to the original game. I have been an active member of the GPx community although I can't say I have added anything worthwhile in terms of downloads for users.

Me and mate have been pretty much racing for over 10 years now every fortnight and this year we launched a website for a bit of fun.

im in australia too, i started playing geoffs games with revs, i think it was called. i remember playing it on the BBC micros at school. then i upgraded to f1gp on the amiga, and bought my first pc just to play gp2.

I'm not from perth. Central Coast of NSW. Hey, i need some serious downloads, could anyone point me in the right direction?? Even somewhere that has awesome fantasy carsets. by the way, has anyone here ever played GP4 LAN??

Im from Melbourne 15 minutes from Albert Park :p Being playing since the days of GP2. It was the first game I ever bought and probably one of the best.

G-day mate!

I'm born and bred in England, but all of my dads family (mum, dad (deceased), 3 brothers, 1 sister and all their kids (my cousins)) live in Oz. My dad is one of only 3 siblings that haven't emmigrated (1 sister lives in Florida, and the other lives in the same town as us here in England.)

Most of them in Perth, but a couple in Bunbury, and a few in Melbourne.

We went to visit in '93, and they have all visited us one-by-one over the years, the last time was over the christmas period last december.
