hi i am new to this community as i joined a league i need a personal helmet but i am not good at photoshop.
Is there anyone who can make me a helmet i am driving at renault and would like to have sponsors like guru, mildseven, ati, pentium, microsoft also i want some techlines or lightingwires on it. Maybe the flag of curacao on it.
Overall color should be blue--(dark with light) with a bit carbonfibre look black, and orange or yellow for the techlines and put my name on the side as
CriZz Lau. WEll pm me if you have question can't wait to see what you guys can do would be a great effort if some tryed.

wow i was just going through this thread and there are some amazing designs!!!
i have 2 questions.
1. how would i change a helmet and put my own design into the game (say i want to replace montoyas design with mine) How would i go about creating the helmet too? what program do i use etc
2. i created my design very roughly, im not that good at photoshop but came up with this design. im hoping that you experts can give me some pointers on making my helmet look "REAL"
i want to make this helmet into the game.

Here's a quick attempt on your helmet, Cr!ZZ.
Apart from the top that is sooooo similar to the hemet I used to use when playing the 1997 season in GP3.

I've already made quite a few in GP3 but have never been able to get them as goof quality for GP4 (for somereason all my attempts using higher resolutions look terrible, lol). I'll post my hi-res versions and it doesnt really matter if you get them spot on or use exactly the same sponsors (although it would be prefferable) as I dont particularly race for one set team. I'll post a few screenshots aswell to give you a bit of an idea so here goes and I hope they're okay for you.

I'm not having a dig at all, but have any of you tried making a GP4 helmet yourself using tips and tricks posted on the web?
P.S. I am NOT having a dig. There was a time when I couldn't make my own GP4 helmets and I had to ask someone else to do it for me.

Heya its alright Iceman paul no offense taken I've tried before but whenever I go hi res all of my helmets look disjointed and blurred and everything...thats even before I put them into the game, lol. One of the good things about GP3 is that when you scale your helmet down you dont see any of the single pixel imperfections. However with GP4 (because of the high resultion textures) they all become evident. Getting rid of those small imperfections (or even just avoiding them to begin with, lol) is something I've never been able to do.
The reason why I'm so picky is that I'm in the process of making a website and would really love a few superb quality renders. The reason I'm asking on here is that I think the finished result would be much better if it was done by one of the excellent painters we have on the forum instead of me.
I hope this makes sense now.

Well HAGI I TRYED TO MODIFIE IT A BIT HOPE ITS GOOD ENOUGH FOR HERE.....as its my first painting, photoshop is quit difficult.
