Amazing! Caelen - the cockpit and steering wheel in the last two pics - where did you get them from and who made them? I would love to have them! Is the steering wheel McLaren specific or not?

Cheers Fongu. Just as I was writing my post, I remembered that Caelen did make cockpits and I thought wouldn't it be ironic if it was his!

Any ideas where I can get both cockpit and wheel?

schumacher fan, it looks like AA to me, or lack of I should say. i run at 1280x1024 with 4X AA and 8X anisotrophic filtering.
if thats not the case it could be the mip mapping. try altering the graphics config to use onl 2 mipmaps instead of 4 and reduce the mipmap bias to about 60 and see what happens

the cockpit is ver 7 i think, the one at gpgames is only version 3, the tyres were never released. if any one wants these things let me know and i can put all relebent files into a zip. note the cockpit requires tweaker and cam editor.

Caelen honestly i have no clue what you are talkin about.:-)
i tried 1280x1024 with all details on highest settings-there was no difference.
What´s the AA and what other values are you talking about?Where can i adjust them?

look for the following lines in the graphic config

1; f1graphics.cfg controls all settings (default 0)
8; [RELEASE] Number of multisamples if available (0-16 :: 0 => off, 1 unused)
2; Number of mipmaps (0 => off) v2
3; [MAIN VIEW] Texture filter quality (0 => none, 1 => point, 2 => bilinear, 3 => anisotropic, 4 => flatcubic, 5 => gaussiancubic) v3
3; [MAIN VIEW] Texture filter quality for mipmaps - if any - (0 => none, 1 => point, 2 => bilinear, 3 => anisotropic, 4 => flatcubic/quincunx, 5 => gaussiancubic) v3
7; [MAIN VIEW] Max anisotropic filtering (1 => off, to max 7) v2
60; [MAIN VIEW] Mipmap bias (0 => -8 to 200 => +8) -ve=> sharper v2

or you can set the AA and AF in the drivers direct 3d settings.
